Today in class, when we had to walk around and look at each others blueprints, I've got to say that there were a lot of really creative ideas. Now when I received my feedback, I noticed that there seemed to be a lot more positive then helpful, which is greatly appreciated, it's always nice to know that people really like your thoughts and ideas. Though there were some helpful and specific feedback, but to be honest, they weren't really as helpful to me as I thought they would be, and some of the 'helpful feedback' was already something we've noticed before and was planning to change already. There was one really helpful specifc feedback that I thought was brilliant, and something I could do to make my artistic creation a little better. Someone said that since one of the quotes on the guitar said "Stop the Bleeding", they suggested red paint [to resemble the blood] dripping down from the soundhole. Thanks to the feedback that was given today for the "Gandhi Guitar" blueprint, I really feel confident in how our final piece will turn out.

  • Your blueprint was so detailed and inspired, I think you inspired many people in class, but there was not much criticism offered. You should feel proud of your plan, and as your paint and create, I'm sure you will come up with even more details to add. Also, your design may evolve as your learn more and more about your organization and Gandhi. You have such beautiful ideas and I love the way you and Emily are working together to create a piece of functional artwork to strum and sing out your message with. As you come up with more ideas, don't hesitate to ask others' opinions as you create. Great start!
