In the resilience cafe project, I really learned a lot about Gandhi, Gandhi's quotes and especially about the To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) organization. Since TWLOHA was a brand new organization, and barely started about a year ago, I was definitely more curious about what it really is all about. I knew about it before because a lot of musicians that I'm interested in support the cause, but I really didn't know the content behind it and that they support people that have problems with depression, drugs, and alchohol. So I've researched more about it, and about Gandhi also. I really thought his quotes were truly inspiring, and I'll probably continue reading and looking for more inspiring words.
Presenting my guitar that I've re-created wasn't at all hard for me. I really liked what I've done and I'm proud of it, so it was real easy for me to present my work to people and other students. Also, I'll probably be hanging it up on a wall somewhere in the 8th grade commons, this way, I will always be able to view what I've accomplished and to share it for others. They can take it down and play it also.
The page in the book that I've writtened about my artwork was done greatly, and to be honest, I think I've actually possibly at least met or even exceeded some of mine and maybe others' expectations for this project because I've received a lot of positive feedback about my work and what I was doing.
